Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center Hiring for Medical Front Office Receptionist at Cary, NC Full Time

The Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center of North Carolina is hiring a front office receptionist for our new Cary location. This location is opening August of 2023.

Primary roles/responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Greeting patients
• Maintaining waiting room
• Answering phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, confirming upcoming patient appointments
• Providing a high level of customer service
• Collecting patient insurance information and working with insurance companies to verify benefits
• Collecting payment from patient
• Basic clerical tasks, filing, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

A degree and experience is preferred but not required. Qualified candidates will be friendly, polite, prompt, hardworking, fast learning, and have the ability to work with patients from a variety of backgrounds. Attention to detail and strong communication skills, both in person and via phone, are crucial.

The Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center of North Carolina provides our patients the best in clinical, surgical and general dermatology. We provide expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, including state-of-the-art procedures such as Mohs Surgery. We are also top-notch at every facet of general dermatology (e.g. acne – including Accutane therapy, rashes, eczema, psoriasis – including biologic therapies, warts, moles and infections). We currently have 6 locations throughout North Carolina.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
