To support the Council’s Enterprising Council approach the Finance Function has moved to a new centralised operating model.
The team supporting the Place Department are looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to assist in the provision of high quality and effective financial information and support.
The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified with previous experience in a finance role, have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and be competent in the use of computerised financial systems.
You will need to be an enthusiastic, motivated team player who is willing to learn and be attentive to detail.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in an interesting and challenging area of local government accounting.
