An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Care Charging & Support Team to undertake both financial and administrative tasks within a busy team. The role involves supporting the Social Care Teams to deliver social care to both younger and older adults.
As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring how customers spend their direct payments in line with their Support Plan. You will also be responsible for processing a large volume of invoices in relation to care delivered to customers and facilitating the financial charging assessment. The role will involve an element of customer service as the team liaise with both internal and external customers daily.
The candidate will be joining the team at a time when the service is undergoing many changes to improve the customer experience and satisfaction. The post holder will be involved in those changes by supporting business as usual processes but also by being a part of the new ways of working. This is an exciting time to join the Community Care Charging & Support Team as the post holder will gain invaluable financial, administrative and customer service experience.
