Deployed Resources LLC Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist at Eagle Pass, TX Full Time

Expected Pay Range: $60,000-$65,000/year

The Talent Acquisition Specialist 1 will take the lead in organizing, marketing for, and executing high-volume recruiting, primarily for skilled and unskilled labor. Additionally, they will collaborate with hiring managers to develop attractive job descriptions for posting, source and screen candidates, schedule and conduct interviews, and draft and present offers.

The ideal candidate resides in South Texas and has experience recruiting for federal contracts, is energetic, personable, detail-oriented, bilingual (English and Spanish) and driven to meet deadlines. This role requires the ability to travel, often on short notice, and work nights and weekends on an as-needed basis.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Develop marketing plan for hiring events and job fairs
• Engage in high-volume calling to meet recruiting deadlines, often with tight timelines
• Establish and maintain relationships with community groups to facilitate the marketing and hiring required
• Pass out flyers and engage in other activities to spread the word about Deployed Resources jobs
• Help to organize, market, and execute hiring events and job fairs
• Collaborate with hiring managers to create, edit, and post job advertisements
• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop screening questions and evaluation criteria
• Develop recruiting plan of action to include advertising, hiring events, budget, media, and tracking ROI
• Exercise creativity by sourcing candidates in a variety of places using outside-the-box search methods
• Source, screen, interview, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
• Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge, and abilities.
• Develop benches of screened candidates for recurring openings
• Use a variety of job boards and other web-based tools to identify and contact qualified candidates
• Evaluates applicants from a variety of sources
• Collaborate with temp agencies
• “Sell” the opportunity, department, and company to prospective candidates
• Check candidate references
• Perform salary surveys and make compensation recommendations
• Negotiate starting salary with management and candidate
• Track candidate workflow in the ADP applicant tracking system
• Provide weekly s to hiring managers on the status of requisitions, candidate quality, and candidate pipeline
• Maintain contact with hard-to-find candidates using various techniques to keep the candidates interested
• Create and foster relationships with colleagues and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit critical skilled candidates, alumni, and diversity applicants.

• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is desired
• Knowledge of Boolean search principles and strategies
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and juggle multiple competing deadlines
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
• Willingness to travel on short notice
• Must live in Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Work Environment

This job operates remotely and in office settings. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smart phones, tablets, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other presentation materials. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb, and stand. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. may occur.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position based remotely. Typical office hours 8am-5pm M-F, however, must be available as needed for hiring events, job fairs, surges, and special events. The ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends is required based on contract needs.

Travel

Up to 30%. The ability to travel to job sites on short notice and be away for periods of time based on contract needs is required. Travel expenses are paid for by Deployed Resources.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree is required. Will consider an Associate degree plus 2 additional years of relevant experience in-lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) required
• ADP Workforce Now experience is desired
• 2+ years of recruiting experience is required and must include:
  • Experience with staffing and/or high-volume recruiting
  • Experience recruiting using LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other job boards
  • Experience advertising jobs on job boards
  • Experience planning and hosting career fairs and/or hiring events
  • Experience performing Boolean searches

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
• Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, background check, and credit check after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
