for a visiting one-year term faculty in Colonial and Early
National-era U.S. History to begin January 2023, with the
possibility of renewal. The teaching load is three classes
per quarter. Primary responsibilities for this position are

Â

the city. Teaching and learning are our priorities. That
might seem obvious, but we’re the largest private university whose
faculty members’ priority is teaching. We’re also the nation’s
largest Catholic university — and we’re committed to an educational
experience that weaves together mind, place, people and
heart. Our students come from 49 states and 136
countries. We have over 14,000 undergraduates, one-third of
whom are first-generation college students.

Ph.D. or advanced ABD status in Colonial or Early National-era
U.S. history is required. Â Teaching experience is required;
online teaching experience is welcome. DePaul seeks candidates
with demonstrated cultural competencies to include teaching,
service and research in diverse learning communities.
Â
