What’s the role all about?
This is a diverse, fast-paced role assisting the People Services Team to deliver a consistently professional and effective service that is mindful of, and promotes the organisation’s Vision, Mission, Values and strategic aims.
You’ll work within the People Services team providing effective consultative support delivering the Recruitment Service and overseeing all recruitment activities across the organization from vacancy requisition, through to on-boarding and new starter management.
The Recruitment Officer will oversee and manage designated recruitment and administration projects within the team, from reviewing the recruitment and selection process, to managing the recruitment system. You’ll ensure all elements of the recruitment and onboarding process are adhered to and that all candidate paperwork is processed and completed in line with our strict RTW and data protection protocols. You’ll be the recruitment point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.

What will ideally support your success in this role?
Previous experience as a Recruitment Officer within an HR service with the ability to use Word, Excel, Internet research and databases to a high standard
Knowledge and understanding of Safer Recruitment practices, adherence to data protection and confidentiality policies
Comprehensive understanding of GDPR practices
Experience of using candidate databases and managing recruitment administration systems, including producing reports
Experience in small project delivery
Experience developing and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
