DePaul Community Resources seeks a full-time Regional Recruiter (Roanoke/Christiansburg/Lynchburg) for the Marketing & Development Department. Applicants must live within 40 minutes of the Hollins-Roanoke office.

JOB SUMMARY
DePaul Community Resources seeks an achievement-oriented individual with ties to the local community and a proven track record of recruitment and/or sales results. The Regional Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment of homes for both the foster care program and sponsored residential program, hereby known as resource families. Resource families are homes that can be certified by DePaul for foster parent and sponsored residential licensure in DePaul’s regions and have the ability and desire to provide care to the vulnerable youth and individuals referred to DePaul. The recruiter will also be responsible for creating and nurturing local business and community relationships.
TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, social services, or business fields and a proven track record in recruitment and/or sales. The Regional Recruiter must make cold calls and not be afraid to be courageous when “making the ask.” The individual will be fixated on achieving goals and continuously measuring their performance compared to their goals. A valid driver’s license and five years of driving experience with no major driving violations in the last five years are required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The Regional Recruiter position is based in DePaul’s administrative office in the Hollins District of Roanoke County, VA. Applicants must live within 40 minutes of the Hollins-Roanoke office.
The applicant must submit a current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) before starting employment and possess a driving record that complies with DePaul policy. Must be willing to have a criminal and child protective services (CPS) background report conducted upon hire. The applicant shall not have been convicted of any barrier crime(s) on the criminal background report. The applicant will have no founded disposition of child abuse or neglect as documented by the CPS background report. A non-negative result of the pre-employment drug test will terminate the application process.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will be performed from both remote locations in the community and at the office. This hybrid schedule requires flexibility and willingness to work some weekends/nights.
Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
