About the Opportunity

The Team Leader, Recruitment will manage a team to support continual process improvement for managing the end-to-end recruitment processes and systems in accordance with the People Delegations and best practice.

This role will liaise with People and Culture Business Partners, Business Managers, Executive Services and Systems Support to provide consistency of process with a commitment to providing a seamless service to our internal and external partners.

Key skills we’re looking for:

• Strong leadership skills
• Strong analytical and continuous improvement focus with demonstrated ability to plan and initiate continuous improvement initiatives for BAU recruitment.
• Influencing and negotiation skills with key stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective decision making across all stages of the recruitment process to a positive outcome
• Proven experience leveraging recruitment best practice including software (e.g., Springboard). Strong understanding and experience using various computer software programs to generate high-quality correspondence, data, reports and charts
• Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and influence sound judgements and provide strategic advice
• High level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships, work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to gain cooperation and achieve outcomes; experience in the preparation of high level reports, briefs and recommendations.
• Knowledge of and/or experience with Government recruitment policies highly desirable.
