About the Team

Reporting into the Manager Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Advisor sits within the People and Business Services division.

About the Opportunity

The Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for the coordination of the end to end recruitment processes and services to the Department to ensure efficient delivery of service.

Requirements

You will ideally have a strong hands on recruitment background in managing multiple recruitment assignments across a range of stakeholders at all levels. The role involves:

• Manage multiple end to end recruitment processes simultaneously, including position description support, taking briefs, developing sourcing strategies, writing advertisements and coordinating advertising, shortlisting, coordination of interviews, preparation of interview packs (including the interview guide), participation on interview panels (when reauired) and managing pre-employment checks through to final selection
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, with the confidence to influence and negotiate on recruitment decisions, provide recruitment advice and ensure recruitment activities are planned and delivered within agreed timeframes
• Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and data integrity on recruitment systems such as Springboard and SAP Success Factors
• Guidance to HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to ensure compliance to recruitment policy and process including use of templates and forms.
• Liaise with and provide authoritative advice to HR Business Partners, Business Managers, hiring managers and candidates on a range of VPS recruitment and agency on-hire queries in a timely manner.
