The Department of Transport brings together all transport modes to design, plan, build and operate Victoria’s transport system. Our job is to further integrate the transport network and improve the delivery of services to Victorians for simpler, quicker and safer journeys that connect people and places and support Victoria’s prosperity and liveability.

About the Team
The Investment and Technology division’s purpose is to provide investment strategy and deliver commercial and information technology services to drive high performance and improved commercial outcomes for the State.
About the Opportunity
The Department is moving to a new Oracle Cloud ERP and will migrate from legacy systems from the former Roads, DOT and PTV agencies. In addition, the Department is implementing a new Zycus procurement system, new Oracle project management systems and a new HRM/payroll system. This position will play a key role in managing the complexities of the integration and interfaces with the new systems and leading the financial systems team.

Qualifications
Desirable
- A CPA/CA qualification is highly desirable.
- A relevant tertiary degree in accounting or business system applications is highly regarded.
- A strong understanding of contemporary public sector financial management and internal control strategies, frameworks and issues.
