NOTE: Wage (P-14) employees are limited to working a maximum of 1500 hours in a 365-day period. This position averages no more than 29 hours a week. Wage positions carry no benefits.

The Statistical s Analyst s to the Strategic Outcome Program Lead within the Division of Benefit Programs (DBP). They are responsible for providing comprehensive s and statistical support to Strategic Outcomes units. The analyst assists in compiling s used in selecting case review samples for Management Evaluations (ME), Sub-Recipient Monitoring (SRM) and other case reviews. The analyst disseminates ME findings to USDA and other stakeholders. This information enables the systematic operation of the SNAP in compliance with federal regulations and guidance, preventing the imposition of fiscal sanctions and maintaining adherence to 7 CFR Chapter 275 and the Robertson v. Jackson court order. The Analyst also monitors the accurate and timely completion of DBP SRM, ensures alignment with the current SRM plan and compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations. This includes that a working review file is created and kept on the shared drive, that SRM risk assessments and calendars are completed and submitted timely, that review documents are timely uploaded to SharePoint, and that the SRM tracker is updated. In the event that there is no regional staff available to upload findings to SharePoint, the analyst will upload all documents. This position maintains the SRM folders for each State Fiscal Year. The role also involves generating and formatting s, graphs and charts, to identify error trends, payment accuracy, and timely processing of applications by extracting data from various systems, such as Rushmore, VaCMS, and Data Warehouse. The position also updates and maintains the Strategic Outcome FUSION page and its subpages. The position will provide direct support to: Strategic Outcome Subdivision.
