The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a senior finance analyst to help manage the annual budget of Victoria’s youth justice custodial precincts.
What will the Senior Finance Analyst do?
As Senior Finance Analyst, you will be part of a team that provides expert advice to senior Youth Justice leaders on financial, budget, procurement and performance related matters.
Your experience, skills and knowledge will be highly valued when you are tasked with:
What skills should I have?
To thrive in this role, you will have extensive experience in finance and budget management. You will also have a strong understanding of public sector management, financial management, accrual budgeting, balance sheet management, output pricing and costing and the associated policies, practices, and procedures.
A familiarity with Victorian Government processes for public sector accounting and budget management is also highly valued.
