Finance Support Analyst

• $90,067 – $102,192 (Plus Superannuation)
• Ongoing role
• Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)

The Team

The position of Finance Support Analyst forms a part of the Corporate Services Group and Financial & Property Services Branch. This Branch is responsible for ensuring that the department meets its commitments and obligations required under the Financial Management Act 1994 and providing a full range of accounts payable, accounts receivable, accommodation, facilities, fleet, travel, environment and mail services.

The Role

The Finance Support Analyst is responsible for providing functional support for Oracle Financials Cloud system and the custom in-house developed applications integrated with the Oracle applications. The key tasks for the position are to provide analytical support for incidents raised via the support desk, day to day management of the Oracle applications, such as monitoring of overnight processes, participation on development and change activities and end of month system processes.

About You

• Finance or Accounting degree and a professional qualification would be well regarded
• Proven ability to undertake tasks in a methodical and systematic manner to achieve desired outcomes
• Ability to analyse complex issues and identifies and proposes practical solutions to problems.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with team and people at all levels
• Confidently convey ideas and information in a clear and interesting way
