Chief Operating Officer Division The Chief Operating Officer Division supports the work of the department through the delivery of corporate and business functions spanning human resources, legal, communications, and property management. Together, teams in the Division provide expertise to lead and shape policy development, business improvement and program delivery to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of corporate outcomes for the Department.
Chief Information Officer Division The Chief Information Officer (CIO) Division Is An Exciting, Diverse And Dynamic Division That Drives The Digital Agenda For The Department. Leading The Delivery Of The Department’s Digital Offerings And Transformation, The CIO Division Partners With Business Areas And Stakeholders To:
Communications Branch The Communications Branch sits within the Chief Operating Officer Division and plays a key role in supporting policy objectives and telling the department’s story. The branch manages a large number of communications channels and offers advice on all aspects of communications. It plays an important role in supporting our Ministers and the department’s Executive.
The successful applicant will join a dynamic team operating as a centre of excellence. We work closely and early with our policy and program colleagues to effectively communicate our strategic priorities. We take a content-focused, digital first approach to developing impactful communications.

ICT Operations Branch The ICT Operations Branch is one of three branches sitting within the Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD) and is instrumental in the delivery of infrastructure and support to the department, running all ICT for the enterprise.
The branch is a fast paced and exciting part of the CIO portfolio, and the successful applicant will join a team providing key critical services to departmental staff and guiding their digital experience in the workplace. Our ideal candidate

Eligibility
To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.
Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.

A merit pool may be established and used to fill future vacancies within 18 months from the date the vacancy was first advertised in the Gazette.
