VPS 6 Manager Financial Acounting and Reporting

Full Time, Ongoing, Melbourne CBD Location or WFH

Salary Range $127,467 – $170,579, plus super

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager Financial Accounting and Reporting leads the formulation, maintenance and interpretation of the department’s accounting and financial reporting policies. The Manager applies extensive knowledge and understanding of Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting Directions and other relevant guidelines and legislations to ensure that policies, processes, and systems implemented by the Department are best practice and compliant.

Drawing on specialist financial and accounting knowledge, the Manager leads a team of finance officers responsible for the timely delivery of the Department’s annual financial statements, periodic reports, the provision of accounting policy advice to the department and its portfolio agencies and the delivery of other financial analyses and advice on financial reporting.
