Department of Education and Training Hiring for Educator (VPSG5) Job at Melbourne Full Time

The Educator positions are based in the Stakeholders, Implementation and Training Branch which is responsible for the implementation of the Child Information Sharing Scheme for education portfolio workforces. The Educators will work as part of a team of educators who will specialise in co-facilitating the delivery of approved training content on the Child Information Sharing Scheme, the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme and the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Framework to adult learners across prescribed education workforces. Educators will also deliver Child Link Training to all prescribed workers.

Educator – Fixed Term/Full Time until 30/06/2024 x 3 Positions

The Educator positions are based in the Stakeholders, Implementation and Training Branch which is responsible for the implementation of the Child Information Sharing Scheme for education portfolio workforces. The Educators will work as part of a team of educators who will specialise in co-facilitating the delivery of approved training content on the Child Information Sharing Scheme, the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme and the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Framework to adult learners across prescribed education workforces. Educators will also deliver Child Link Training to all prescribed workers.

The Educator will support the team’s delivery of high-quality training experiences through the facilitation of approved briefings and workshops (including webinars) for centre-based education and care services, Government, Catholic and Independent schools; system and statutory bodies; and education health, wellbeing and inclusion workforces, and other stakeholders as required. The educator team will also support the delivery of Child Link training.

Key accountabilities and focus areas are:

• Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
• Use a framework for continual improvement processes to ensure ongoing professional development and growth
• Co-facilitate (or lead as required) briefings and workshops, including targeted sessions
• Successfully engage participants to ensure that the session’s objectives are effectively met
• Coordinate and participate in relevant, up-to-date professional learning to build knowledge and capability to ensure high level understanding of the training objectives
• Maintain a high level of interpersonal communication at all times
• Have the ability to travel – educators may be required to travel across Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria to deliver sessions on location
• Support the Lead Educator and VCIS executive with any other tasks as required.
