JOB SUMMARY
The incumbent of this position serves as Staff Assistant in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), Clinical Services Administration, Behavioral Health Authority, Department of Behavioral Health. The incumbent is responsible for providing a full range of office management and administrative support services essential to the CPEP Director and management staff. Assists in the development of data and other supportive statistical data and documentation essential to office operations and requirements. Maintains current knowledge of program policies and procedures. Oversees receipt of correspondence and incoming mail to the office. Assists in tracking all CPEP purchase orders, including reviewing, receiving invoices for completeness and accuracy, tracking expenditures against purchase orders and maintaining an accurate record. Makes all arrangements for meetings and conferences for the Director and management staff. Responsible for record and prepare minutes in final format.
This position IS in the collective bargaining unit represented by SED and you may be required to pay an agency service fee through an automatic payroll deduction

Tour of Duty: 8:15am – 4:45pm Monday – Friday
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT: This position requires one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level. Specialized experience is experience which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position to be filled.

Experience in providing a full range of administrative and support services.

Some degree of hazard may be present in working in an environment exposed to severely mentally ill and/or emotionally disturbed consumers.
