As the Talent Acquisition Lead you will have a growing team of direct reports who recruit into digital roles, cultivate marketing insight to drive a culture of engagement, high performance and outstanding results.
You will need to have experience of working with niche and hard to recruit roles within challenging market conditions.

Our DWP People, Capability and Place (PCandP) team, which brings together HR, Capability, Learning and Talent and Estates and Workplace Transformation expertise, is one of the largest people-related functions in the UK (over 1700 people) and our strong focus on team working, strategic influencing and developing professional capability will ensure that you have plenty of opportunities to develop your own networks and career whilst making a real difference in delivering the business strategy.
You will report directly to the Lead for Specialist and Functional Resourcing.
The role includes but is not limited to the job description below:
To lead a team of experts in candidate attraction, providing innovative and cost-effective solutions for critical digital talent; working with digital colleagues to build and maintain effective talent pools.
Accountable for delivering direct sourcing and attraction strategies to be deployed across various channels, effectively tracking and optimising them to drive improvements in time, cost and quality of hires.
Working with the wider Resourcing team, develop leading selection tools and processes so that candidates experience the highest quality professional selection process to differentiates DWP Digital from its competitors.
Provide metrics and analytics to drive the performance of the Talent Acquisition Management Team in terms of volume, time, cost, quality of hires.
Develop strong networks internally and externally in order to ensure regular market intelligence and that the resourcing strategy is aligned to the changing needs and business strategy.
Co-lead on training the wider recruitment team in the proactive management of search activities.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business need but personal circumstances and other relevant circumstances will also be taken into account. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.

A strong candidate will be able to demonstrate the key skills listed below :
You will be able to demonstrate experience gained within a complex organisation where you have had to plan and deliver sourcing and attraction for high priority niche “hard to fill” roles, using a range of sources and resources, in order to identify issues, make improvements and influence outcomes and be able to draw on expertise as required to provide solutions at pace.
You will have experience leading and managing a team within a complex organisation and will be able to demonstrate how you built and measured the success of the team.
You will have good stakeholder management skills gained within a complex organisation with an ability to build trust-based relationships with a wide range of demanding and diverse stakeholders; With the ability to constructively and effectively challenge and promote and influence a culture that encourages the highest quality professional selection processes.
You will have experience in providing metrics and analytics to drive the performance of your team within a large sourcing environment that allows you to influence and develop flexible approaches to resourcing strategy.
