We are a close and diverse team. We embrace change and challenge and are looking for an enthusiastic Resourcing Account Manager to progress our Talent Acquisition capability as we enter the next chapter of our Resourcing journey.

Here are a few ways you will achieve this:

• Business Partner your portfolio by overseeing resourcing strategy, providing guidance on best practice and policy, and building hiring manager capability to ensure we get top talent into DIT.
• Plan resourcing requirements for your portfolio by working closely with strategic workforce planning, HR Business Partners, and expert services in HR.
• Empowering hiring managers to own their own recruitment, helping them access professional networks to realise the most effective and diverse resourcing outcomes.
• Reporting and analysing data to identify trends, feeding this back to stakeholders.
• Understanding the context you are operating within and the political and external factors that affect your portfolio and stakeholders.
• Project Delivery: Leading on and driving projects ranging from continuous improvement of policy and processes to assessing innovative resourcing solutions.
• Building trusted, credible relationships with a diverse range of HR and business stakeholders, at all levels.
• Interpreting policy and guidance to ensure compliance, troubleshooting complex queries as an escalation point and encourage best practice.
• Continuously expanding your suite of resourcing options and capabilities through networking and aligning to industry best practice.

The role will be based in either Darlington or London. You will be asked to express a location preference during the application process.

Please be aware that this role can only be worked from within the UK and not overseas.

Informal hybrid working arrangements will be available as agreed with the vacancy manager and in line with the requirements of the role.

Most DIT employees will be working a hybrid pattern, spending 2-3 days a week (pro rata) in an office, on average. If your office location is London, you will be eligible to receive London weighting.

DIT will cover travel costs/expenses to any office which is not your usual office location in line with departmental expenses policy. DIT will not cover commuting costs to your agreed office location.

Appointments will be made to candidates in merit order based on location preferences.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate ‘Person Specification’:

Above all, you are resilient and comfortable working in an environment which can at times be uncertain and ambiguous.

Essential:

• Previous experience in a recruitment related role (ideally in either an in-house resourcing team, direct sourcing or recruitment agency). We encourage you to apply if you believe you have the transferable skills from similar roles.
• Proven excellent customer service in a client facing role with a real passion for people and making positive connections.
• Ability to work with data or reporting and understanding of the value of data insights
• A collaborative team-worker, ability to work with a range of stakeholders.

Desirable:

• Familiar with inclusive recruitment practices and interested in ways we can improve our ED&I outcomes.
• Familiarity with a range of resourcing approaches from contractor recruitment to high volume (bulk) campaigns.
• Previous experience using an Applicant Tracking System or CRM.
