Due to growth, we are on the lookout for a Digital Director to join the dentsu QLD team.

We are an integrated team that combines deep specialism in Customer Experience Management (CXM), data, technology, and creative with our media expertise offer clients end-to-end solutions. Working as one team, we believe these critical and unique skill sets positively agitate our thinking to deliver more meaningful outcomes for the brands we work with.

What your typical day will look like:

As the Digital Director across our Performance portfolio you will play a key role in the digital leadership and oversight of exciting client across different verticals including Education, Ecommerce Fast Fashion and Corporate travel. This will be focused on translating business results into digital strategy, planning and buying as well as a strategic role in supporting the Group Digital Director. With your Client Partner, you will lead + coach your team of Managers, Executives and Associates across communications media planning & buying – Performance & Digital, Direct IO with a heavier lean into biddable media.

Core responsibilities include:

• You will have a strong and comprehensive understanding of the Australian media landscape with a focus on Performance media being your craft specialisation and passion.
• You have a primary focus on translating media strategy working closely with the Client Partner on digital media planning and execution with exemplary performance craft knowledge and understanding.
• You will have a deep understanding of all platforms and intelligence leader on audience segmentation and craft specialisation in performance and ability to see support the digital ecosystem conversations holistically.
• You are a team player and have managed teams, upskilling them and coaching them in their craft.

A bit about you:

• Proven depth of knowledge and activation history across Google & Meta, and exposure to LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Snap ​ – this should be your deep craft lean and passion.
• Strong total end-to-end Digital Media Landscape understanding with a point of view on how this works collectively across all media communications. ​
• Strong implementational planning background with the ability to work with media partners on the implementation & activation of all digital media
• Proven experience in leading 6+ team members with digital and offline backgrounds and supporting Client Partner on the outputs of the team. ​
• You have a strong skillset in total budget management and oversight being able to hold senior conversations on the delivery of total budget and phasing. ​
• You will have experience in leading and accurately forecasting media billings by media owner​​ and total budget management. ​
