Dental Online Training Hiring for Instructional Designer (Part-time) Job at Remote Full Time

Dental Online Training (DOT) is a continuing education website for dentists, dental students and dental assistants that specializes in virtual, hands-on education. We are looking for a part-time Instructional Designer to support the development and go-to-market strategies of new courses, and the enhancement and promotion of current courses. Potential for full-time employment starting in June.

Responsibilities:

• Under general direction, this position is responsible for designing, developing and updating electronic courses and materials
• Implements and adheres to course design standards
• Provides sound instructional design support to in the design/redesign of online courses
• Collaborates with faculty to develop curricula and identify instructional material needs
• Develops course related materials to support marketing initiatives
• Works with faculty to evaluate effectiveness and recommends changes regarding course design, technology and instruction delivery options
• Develops documentation and manuals to support new course launch campaigns

Position Qualifications Include:

• Ability to work at least 20hours a week
• Knowledge of software supportive of instructional design such as any LMS tool, Camtasia, Screencast-o-mataic, Examity;
• Experience working with audio/video files in any format.
• Graphic design knowledge
• Fundamental understanding of HTML
• Creativity
• Ability to work simultaneously on several projects and be able to set priorities.
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines.
• Ability to investigate and troubleshoot issues and problems independently and efficiently.
• Computer proficiency
• Knowledge of Photoshop and Microsoft Office software preferred

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
