PART TIME – Office Assistant for small Elder Law and Estate Planning Firm in O’Fallon IL

Job Type: Part-time Monday – Friday 9:00am to 2:00pm

Pay: $18 to $20 per hour, based on qualifications.

While we will consider all qualified applicants, this is the ideal position for a parent with school age children. We are offering a part-time position, working around your child/children’s school hours; approximately 25 hours per week. You would not be expected to work on school holidays, snow day and/or sick days. Your work hours during the summer break would be worked out on a mutually acceptable schedule.

The successful candidate will assist in handling administrative responsibilities, such as answering phones and directing calls; maintaining and ordering supplies; scheduling and calendaring appointments; managing mail and scanning documents to our client’s database files; follow up with past, current, and prospective clients; and supporting and assisting other staff as needed. You will work in a safe environment that is sensitive to Covid concerns.

We are most interested in finding someone who can start work immediately.

Qualifications: Experience working in a profession environment. Excellent English grammar skills and the ability to communicate clearly are essential, plus, as would a wide array of computer skills; solid academic credentials, maturity, self-confidence, adaptability; attention to detail and the ability to successfully multi-task. The skill and trust to help us develop and maintain client marketing and relationships will be an asset, while guaranteeing confidentially as this position involves working with client’s private information.
