ROLE OVERVIEW

Programming – Review and programming modifications and upgrades to internal company technology systems and platforms of a current omnichannel retailer across retail POS, ERP, Warehouse/Inventory, Great Plains, Database (SQL Server),

Support E-commerce success– Partner closely with E-Commerce Team for ongoing support and improvements of their new e-commerce website move to Shopify and related technology needs around real-time inventory tracking, analytics/BI, pricing, customer and product database and marketing programs for both parents and schools.

REQUIREMENTS

· Acquire a complete and thorough understanding of the DENNIS Uniform Business Systems.

· Coordinate with business owners and analysts to develop a thorough understanding of the detailed requirements for new or existing processes.

· Be responsible for creating and managing software applications as well as solving day-to-day problems to support retail and operations teams.

· Perform technical design/code reviews for Dynamics and SQL based solutions.

· Enforces typical systems development life cycle processes.

· Oversees the quality and delivery of work executed by 3rd party developers.

· Support changes in the production environment.

· Document processes and solutions developed.

· Provided support for production processes as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 1+ years developing solutions in an ERP, POS and eCommerce application/system environment.

· 2+ years of software development experience.

· Ability to analyze requirements and design scalable, robust solutions.

· Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills – high attention to detail is crucial.

· Ability to deal effectively with a rapidly changing environment.

· Direct experience programming with .ASP, ASP.NET, SQL, XML, Excel VBA.

· Proficient using Microsoft Office suite

· Experience with production systems and data collection.

· Experience creating and consuming JSON, RESTful APIs.

· Experience with HTML5, and JavaScript.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 1+ years of experience in customizing applications from scratch.

· General understanding of best practices and business processes in Finance and Accounting.

· Working knowledge of a RDMS. Preferably MS SQL Server 2012+.

· Working knowledge of developing in Azure cloud environments.

· Conversant with various agile methodologies.

· Familiarity with version control systems, preferably GitHub.

· Experience developing applications and tools for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

· Experience with POS and eCommerce within Shopify Plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
