Denali Backcountry Lodge & Denali Cabins Hiring for Naturalist at Wasilla, Alaska Full Time
This is a remote, fly-in position located in Denali National Park. Due to this, all positions at DBL require assisting in other departments.
Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing our best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Denali Backcountry Lodge. Naturalists at the Denali Backcountry Lodge lead hikes through Kantishna, the backcountry of Denali National Park. As a Naturalist, you will conduct guest activities and provide accurate and enthusiastic interpretations of the natural and cultural history related to Denali National Park. You will have a range of duties and responsibilities including:
- Provide natural and cultural history information to Lodge guests; hikes vary from casual, moderate, and challenging
- Transport guests to trailheads on private and National Park Service lands
- Develop and present educational programs
- Maintain fishing gear and waders and sell fishing licenses to guests
