Responsibilities

• Release SMT and TH documentation for manufacturing
• Create, control, and distribute engineering change orders and maintain revision control
• Review PCB board design from customers, optimize the layout and discuss technical details with suppliers
• Support development SMT and TH assembly processes and procedures in areas: Quality, Process, Manufacturing, Testing, Maintenance
• Ensure SMT and TH prototype, pilot, production runs
• Support all SMT, TH and Assembly related issues
• Setting production routings for production builds
• Setup new production cells/stions/lines
• Analyze customer documentation such as assembly drawings, CAD, Gerbers, BOMs, etc to ensure that all information is analyzed and translated into internal documents.
• Lead activities in following areas: ERP, ECN, floor support, engineering documentation, BOM, production jigs, special projects’ implementation, calibration, production tools and equipment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial or electrical engineering or a manufacturing engineering discipline is an asset3- 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing Advanced knowledge of electronic components and PCB detailsDFM, PFMEA, Lean/ Six Sigma Fundamentals requiredWorking knowledge on ERP systemsKnowledge in development and improvement electronic assembly and SMT related processes including BOMs, Design Reviews, SPC, costing, quality and process procedures, work instructions, KPIs is an asset
