Demant Canada Hiring for Receptionist – Permanent Position at Toronto, ON Full Time

As the first point of contact for our staff and guests who enter the office, the Receptionist will assist with managing all aspects of day-to-day office activities and providing support to the Management team. The role is required in our North York office Monday – Friday, we are unable to offer flexible remote arrangements.

Responsibilities:
Oversee reception area including answering phones, greeting and signing in guests

Distribute and handle all incoming and outgoing mail, courier and shipments

Prepare the regular courier and mailings to intercompany external partners

Schedule and coordinate meetings, travel and accommodation, and other events as requested; ensure boardrooms are maintained

Provide the executive team with some administrative support as required

Monitor, maintain and order office supplies and resources for all areas

Maintain and answer all maintenance requests, issues with parking passes and building access cards

Responsible for maintaining print stations (keep tidy and stocked with toner, office supplies and paper as needed)

Responsible for kitchen and coffee station upkeep

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
College or University Degree is preferred.

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an Administration support position

Experience in Customer Service/Reception role seen as an asset

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Keen attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills with ability to adapt to new priorities through the day

Strong problem-solving skills
