Deluxe Metal Fabrication Hiring for Manufacture worker at Langley, BC Full Time

Deluxe Metal Fabrication Inc is a manufacturer of precision sheet metal parts. We are in Langley, BC, and currently looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team and work safely in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

– Work on sheet metal parts and components.

– Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets

– Fabricate or alter metal parts

– Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering

– Deburring, sanding, grinding, hardware insertion, assembly, and other duties.

– Confers with supervision, management, maintenance, or others to resolve issues

– Practices good housekeeping and safety procedures and adheres to all company policies

– Cut patterns for sheet metal using computerized cutting machines is an asset but not necessary, we are willing to train the right candidate.

– Apply training related to CNC bending, punching, and laser machines

– Quality control – Inspect final product quality to make sure specifications are followed

– Help teammates to clean and organize the shop space

– Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

– Minimum 2 years of experience in a sheet metal company is required

– Must be willing to learn how to operate different CNC machines

– Must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of punching theory, tool selection criteria, metal characteristics, safety standards, and quality control

– Must be able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings

– Must be detail-oriented, hard-working, and comfortable with hands-on work

– Able to work individually or as a team

– Team player, driven and committed to the success of the company

– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

– Must have reliable transportation

– Must be eligible to work in Canada

Work Schedule

Shift is full-time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Morning shift.

Payment will be negotiated based on skills and experience.

This position offers excellent opportunities for growth within the company including training on other CNC equipment such as punching, shearing, and bending.
