Position:

The Talent Acquisition team is responsible for facilitating the effective staffing of the group. We do this by assessing resourcing needs and then identifying and recruiting talented individuals to fill those needs.

Our Global team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with experience in technical recruitment to join the London team. The ideal candidate will bring positive energy and will thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing specialist advice, interviewing and juggling a wide variety of tasks, adding value to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow the agreed talent acquisition process to ensure a thorough, consistent and objective selection process is undertaken with each candidate
• Regularly update the Applicant Tracking System, and provide weekly update reports to the Talent Acquisition Lead
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the whole group including; the HR team as a whole and hiring managers in order to understand and assist with their resourcing requirements
• Guide and coach senior and hiring managers on recruitment issues, including giving guidance on selection criteria and written job descriptions
• Source potential candidates through direct and online channels (e.g. social platforms, job boards and professional networks)
• Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and negotiate agreed Deltatre PSL terms of business and rates for viability of recruitment. Work with agencies to brief them on each role, type of person required and any general updates about the global organisation
• Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within Deltatre by screening CVs, briefing them on our interview process and managing their expectations effectively
• Evaluate candidates’ credentials, including availability, interest level, visa status, salary range, experience, education, skills and fit within the company
• Undertake thorough, fair and well-evidenced face to face competency-based interviews with potential candidates
• Provide feedback to the candidates and agencies (if used) on a timely basis
• Manage offers relevant to your vacancies. Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, negotiating compensation so as to maximise profit margins for the company
• Support and be involved in employer branding initiative including attending related events
• Promote the benefits of a career with Deltatre; highlighting the key points that are relevant to each candidate

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods and negotiating offers
• Extensive experience of direct sourcing candidates with strong knowledge of using Linked In Recruiter
• Knowledge and experience of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
• Familiarity with social media, CV databases and professional networks (e.g. Stack Overflow and Github)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An understanding of the differences between a variety of roles within the organisation
• Confident when influencing and negotiating at all levels of seniority, along with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally
• A positive ambassador of the organisation, promoting a collaborative working environment
• Good knowledge of employment law in relation to recruiting

In house recruitment experience preferred but we will consider good tech recruiters from agency looking to move in house.
