The role of the Accounting Clerk is to be responsible for entry level accounting functions within the accounting section in compliance with generally accepted accounting principals and statutory requirements.

Primary Accounting Job Responsibilities.

Accounts receivable, including posting manual checks to the eligibility and claims system.

Assists with individual and group refund requests, ACH payment failure letters to individuals, pulling files for renewals, and with the process of uncleared check letters.

Communicates with subscribers, groups, brokers and dental offices via phone or email and takes timely action with group or subscriber balances, answers questions and assists all customers as necessary.

Primary Customer Service Job Responsibilities.

Assist with answering customer service calls and other administrative duties as requested or assigned.

What we are looking for:

• Associates degree in accounting preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years of bookkeeping, AR and AP experience.
• 3 years customer service experience.
• Interpersonal and communications skills to work effectively with all levels of staff.
• Strong organizational/time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to respond quickly and accurately to inquiries. Ability to continuously meet/ exceed department standards
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00 – $3,400.00 per month
