Your role
As a Manager in Talent & Learning, you will have specialist experience at management level in one of these areas or have management experience covering both areas. You will be curious as to how your specialism interlinks with other areas of HR Advisory, Human Capital and Deloitte’s wider Consulting practice. You will be able to use your creativity to work with our clients to transform their workforce to be competitive for the future.
Responsibilities of a Talent & Learning Manager in HR Advisory
Manage the design, development and delivery of specific Talent & Learning interventions, frameworks or solutions to meet customer needs (for example, learning needs analysis, competency frameworks, learning & talent strategy, succession planning, employee experience, learning and talent technology)
Demonstrate knowledge of other areas of HR Advisory and Human Capital; including identifying and including elements of different specialisms into your own work and projects
Apply project management skills to lead and manage projects including planning, project governance, risk management, and financials to meet agreed key performance indicators
Manage strong relationships with clients and senior stakeholders on a day-to-day basis
Work closely and collaboratively with client teams to develop hypotheses, gather data, evaluate strategic options, and support them to make choices about their workforce strategies
Manage the delivery of a client project or work stream, setting the standards to your team in the production of high quality deliverables
Lead business and practice development by identifying and leading new business proposals, representing HR Advisory in industry focussed teams, and promoting knowledge capture and sharing among colleagues
Apply commercial acumen when pricing propositions and projects in line with Deloitte frameworks, tools and methodologies

Location:

Work pattern:
This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time basis. However, our team members work a variety of agile working patterns. Tell us what arrangement works for you and we’ll try to accommodate.
Your professional experience
Experience of managing strategic talent & learning programmes
Experience of leading and managing projects including planning, project governance, risk management and financials to meet agreed KPIs
Strong organisational skills with experience of managing, developing and supporting team members and the ability to work independently when required
Ability to manage work and teams at a fast pace, demonstrate resilience and build working relationships with clients, business leaders and key stakeholders quickly
Creative approach to problem solving, demonstrating innovative solutions to add value to client or internal projects
Exceptional communication and people skills, able to articulate complex ideas to all levels of an organisation, and effectively lead and manage all key stakeholders and team members, resolving issues, competing demands and conflicts
Experience of leading a project, work stream or team
Excellent ability in Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel
Experience of research, data collection and qualitative and quantitative analysis to provide insights to colleagues or clients
