The Graduate Talent Acquisition (GTA) team at Deloitte Australia is one of the country’s leading Graduate Talent Acquisition teams. We’ve received many awards over the years, recognising our operational excellence and ongoing contribution to the industry.
We’re growing the team and are looking for a Talent Acquisition Senior Consultant to help us reach the next level. Based in Canberra, you will be an integral member of this National team and be responsible for the end to end recruitment of students, high level stakeholder relationships and you’ll also work on one of our signature projects, helping to drive change and innovation through the national team.
About the role:
In this exciting role, you’ll be joining a team of passionate, innovative, social-media savvy talent acquisition professionals who are focused on delivering a best practice attraction, assessment, selection and onboarding process to support exceptional graduate / student talent outcomes for the business.
Key responsibilities:
Delivering an end to end graduate / student talent acquisition process that impresses both candidates and the business
Efficiently and effectively managing a high volume of candidate applications through our applicant tracking system (Success Factors) using appropriate technology and screening measures, with candidate care paramount
Organising and facilitating assessment days
Maintaining data integrity within Success Factors to enable effective and insightful reporting to business stakeholders via our Tableau dashboard
Building strong, credible relationships with key internal stakeholders, including the broader talent team, assessors and hiring managers.
Liaising with and developing relationships with external stakeholders, including key universities, academics, careers centres, student societies and students
Organising and undertaking presentations internally and on campus (i.e. information sessions, workshops, panels, hackathons & virtual events)
Participating in both team and cross-functional projects, particularly in the areas of early identification, brand eminence and operational excellence
Support the effective promotion and management of Deloitte’s EVP/Employment Brand
Continuous improvement of the TA function, including innovation, to ensure we aspire to be a world-class function
About you:
You are currently in a graduate recruitment related position; or have worked in a high-volume/bulk recruitment environment and looking to take it to the next level
You love to organise, schedule and co-ordinate people, events and programs
You are an enthusiastic, self-starter with a desire to join a high-performance environment focused on people
You love facilitation and presenting
You’re good at influencing stakeholders and can use insightful talent analytics to support influencing / decision-making
You can identify how your role within Talent Acquisition supports the broader strategic outcomes of the business
You have a positive attitude, demonstrate resilience and have a resourceful approach to solving problems
Naturally you have sound computer skills, are a strong communicator, with a proven record in demonstrating initiative
