Meet the National Finance team – a multidisciplinary team of accountants and technical experts that essentially keep the company running. We provide strategic business and financial advice, management reporting and accounting support to Deloitte. What will your typical day look like?

Based in our Sydney office, with flexible working arrangements available, you will provide significant support to the Business Finance Lead to respond to the strategic financial and operational needs of the Business. You will be accountable for reviewing weekly and monthly numbers, providing analysis on results, and assisting in the management of the financial reporting, together with more strategic, value-add support.

You will also contribute to the development and improvement of a well-managed financial reporting process which allows the Finance team and Business to work together towards the achievement of financial outcomes.

Enough about us let’s talk about you:You are someone with:
2-4 years’ experience in a Finance Business Partnering role

Excellent commercial accounting skills and commercial acumen, and the provision of value-add insight

Excellent communication and the ability to communicate financial information and concepts to stakeholders in common business language

Robust financial understanding to deliver, review, and analyse financial results

Ability to build strong relationships with senior members of the firm, the Business, and the Finance team

Professionalism, respect and personal ownership for the integrity and accuracy of financial results
