Delmar Foods Hiring for Forklift Driver Full Time

We have an exciting new opportunity for Forklift Driver to join our team in St. Mary’s ON. Delmar Foods is currently seeking for a responsible candidate to work at our Shipping/Receiving Department during the Afternoon shift.

Job purpose:

To oversee movement of finished goods and raw materials and packaging into and out of the plant and maintain proper documentation per HACCP program guidelines.

Shifts Available:

Morning Shift – 7am to 3:30pm (40-44 hr work week)

Afternoon shift – 3pm to 11:30pm (40-44 hr work week)

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Coordinates outgoing orders
• Ensures stock rotation is respected
• In charge of associated paperwork
• Assembles products to fill orders
• Cleans the working environment
• Ensures stock rotation is respected
• Maintains Good Manufacturing Practices in the area
• Ensures a safe workplace by following company’s safety policies and procedures including the accountability for reduction of and control of accident costs
• General Labour activities when asked

Education: Minimum high school or College education.

Personality: Must be able to multi-task, follow direction, agreeable, able to quickly analyze delivery situations.

Skills: Forklift (stand-up mandatory), Pump trucks, etc.

Transportation: Own transportation mandatory.
