Manufacturing Shipper and Receiver

We are looking for you!

Our Manufacturing Shipper and Receiver is responsible for packaging manufactured parts for shipment to customers and vendors. This includes preparing and verifying shipping and receiving documentation.

Your Objective:

• Prepare and manage completeness and accuracy of all types of shipments, ensuring hardware, labels, materials, parts, supplies, goods, etc… are accounted for.
• Accurately complete documentation, distribution and data entry of information for shipping and receiving.
• Inspect and verify incoming and/or outgoing material, hardware, parts, supplies, goods etc… to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure all previous work order sequences are complete and parts have passed quality inspection as applicable.
• Contact customers and transport companies to arrange shipping and receiving, arrange pickup and delivery of required goods, material, and consumables to/from Dellcom Aerospace, vendors, and customers.

Success Requires:

A passionate, dynamic individual with capability of achieving results.

• 2 – 5 years of progressive shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or industrial shop setting.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, ISO and AS9100 quality systems an asset.
• Must be energetic, technically competent, and self-motivating.
• Must have a positive, professional attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, time and priority management are necessary for success.
• Ability to handle several simultaneous shipments; adapt to change and work under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is a significant asset.
• Experience with ERP Systems such as Epicor a significant asset.
