The Multi-Cloud Engineering team delivers next-generation multi-cloud software, platforms, and products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, our multi-cloud architects focus at the heart of product definition working collaboratively with our product management and engineering execution teams. Our work centers around feature definition, feature architecture, feature prioritization, product vision, and product roadmap. The products we are building sit at the core of our next generation and multi-cloud product strategy, focus on infrastructure designed to make workloads simple to run, and are developed using the most advanced technologies, tools, and software engineering methodologies.

What you’ll achieve

Our Multi-Cloud and VxRail engineering team builds products that deliver the fastest and simplest path to transform operations and modernize data center infrastructure. Working at the cutting edge, we are developing next generation multi-cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and in collaboration with internal and external partners.

You will:

• Provide a vision/strategy and lead the Engineering teams as the Product Owner and Feature Architect for our Multi-Cloud Platforms

• Collaborate with product managers to understand, create, clarify business requirements define the roadmap, conceptualize, and design high value solutions with innovative intellectual property

• Assess value, and prioritize new features, capabilities, stability enhancements and efficiency improvements to ensure product backlog reflects maximum return-on-investment

• Lead the engineering architect team for feature designs and review and analyze proposed changes to features in every release

• Coordinate activities with cross functional teams such as product management, services, global operations, OS engineering, engineering, and documentation

• Conceptualize and design high value solutions with innovative intellectual property

Essential Requirements

• 10+ years of solution development experience in large scale environments across multiple time zones

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Great communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills

• An innate sense of curiosity and an obsession with delivering products that bring end-users joy

• Agility to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working in collaborative coding environments (peer review, source control, continuous integration, etc.)

• Experience working with data center and edge hardware platforms (Intel processors, PCIe options cards, NVMe/SAS/SATA drives, etc)

• Experience working with solution introduction environments (software/platform qualification and support)
