Delaware North Hiring for Finance Assistant – Wembley Stadium Job at London, England Full Time

Delaware North UK is hiring for a Finance Assistant to join our Wembley Stadium team to manage the day to day revenue recognition, billing and bank reconciliation. Delaware North is a global leader in hospitality at sporting venues, national parks, airports, and casinos in North America, the UK and Australia. We have an incredible season scheduled, including FA Cup and playoff Finals, Concerts (Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, Westlife and Coldplay) and the return of the NFL.

As the Finance Assistant at Wembley stadium you will be the main point of contact for development and maintenance of the Boxes Guest Portal/RTS system from a finance perspective.

A day in the life of a Finance Assistant:

• Liaise with Boxes Team to ensure billing/reporting is accurate and reconciled.
• Co-ordinate payments/invoices post event and communicate with relevant departments.
• Process and distribute monthly customer statements and update payment sheets.
• Preparation and distribution of accounts receivable invoices for both internal and external clients.
• Support the daily/monthly Bank Reconciliation.
• Post all sales ledger cash and review & maintain all sales ledger and credit control procedures and documentation ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
• Manage and solve queries from credit card companies and customers regarding sales in a satisfactory and timely manner
• Preparation of Staff Restaurant and Business Lounge P&L’s.
• Process manual credit card payments
• 3rd Party Revenue reconciliation and billing.
• AR Account management.
• Ad hoc projects as requested by the Finance Manager and Assistant Finance Manager.

• Proven track record of being a successful team member
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Intermediate excel and systems skills
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Ability to prioritise workload, with a positive attitude and hands on approach

Desirable Experience:

• Use/knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar accounting system.

Qualifications

Education Requirement: GCSE’s/part qualified AAT

Total years’ experience: 3+ year experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £25,500.00 per year
