The Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Compile the daily revenue & accounts receivable files
• Prepares daily exception reports for variances and unusual activities; reports to operating departments for follow-up and resolution
• Maintain required records, reports and files in an organized manner
• Verifies that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Produce cash over short reports for variances and unusual activities; reports to manager for follow-up and resolution
• Bills and credits accounts involved with the accounts receivable system.
• Responds to questions and makes calls regarding billing problems; acts as a liaison between departments and client.
• Maintains the general ledger, updating vendor files and numbers.
• Provides administrative support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.
• Prior Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices.
• Above average PC, Word, Excel, Outlook, and computerized accounting skills is required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication in the primary language.
• Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on accuracy in handling confidential information.
