Delaware North UK is hiring for an Accounting Clerk to join our Travel and Hospitality Services team. A day in the life of an Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions in accordance with established standard procedures.

• Perform a variety of complex clerical and bookkeeping and accounting tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records.
• Carry out the processing of the Daily Sales Report (DSR) into the company accounting system on a daily basis to ensure it is updated with the latest financial information.
• Review and deal with accounts receivable queries in a professional and timely manner via email and telephone in collaboration with Global Business Services.
• Prepare financial, statistical, and/or technical reports.
• Develop strong working relationships with Unit General Managers and Senior team members to resolve issues in a timely manner.

What we’re looking for

• To be studying/completed AAT and 3+ years relevant finance experience.
• Excellent systems and excel skills to complex pivot table level.
• High level of attention to detail and rigorous commitment to accuracy.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated and works well under pressure.
• Highly organised and an excellent team player.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Able to travel to other Delaware North sites as requested from time to time.
