Delavoye Chocolate Maker is a craft bean-to-bar factory in the heart of Edmonton’s 124 Street. We are looking for passionate, responsible, dedicated and flexible individuals with strong attention to detail and work-ethic to join our team as Chocolate Professionals to help us craft and sell our delicious products.
These are two full-time positions with the potential of day, evening and/or weekend shifts, depending on the production schedule.
About You
You do not need to know everything or much about chocolate making but you should have the desire to learn about this exciting process. You must be able to adapt to changing circumstances in the production or retail areas. You should have a positive team spirit, be responsible and accountable, and have the desire to grow and develop yourself. But most importantly, you should love chocolate as much as we do.
Responsibilities
· Bean to Bar Production: Learn and perform all steps of chocolate production such as sorting, roasting, winnowing, refining/conching, tempering, moulding & packaging.
· Quality management: Taste and evaluate chocolate products for their quality.
· Perform Maintenance: Clean and maintain work spaces and equipment in accordance with AHS regulations.
· Guest Service: Welcome, engage, advise and serve visitors. Be timely, dress professionally, and develop relationships so that visitors look forward to your thoughtful attention and friendliness. Perform transaction using point of sale (POS).
· Seek Improvement: Identify ways to improve our factory’s procedures to benefit the entire team, leading change all-around.
· Be a Team-player: Be a positive, team-oriented player who fosters a safe and comfortable work environment.
· Any other tasks required.

Experience
· Sales: 2 years (preferred)
· Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
· Chocolate making: 1 year (preferred)
Job Type
· Full-time: 30-40 hours per week
· Work/Life balance – 4 days on and 3 days off

· From $16.00 per hour
