The Del Monte Plant in Modesto, California is searching for a qualified Boiler Room Operator. To perform the Boiler Room Operator job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position.

The hourly rate for this job is $31.91 per hour.Del Monte also provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Primary Duties:

1. Roll in boiler tubes (maintenance only, not new construction).

2. Make water analyses.

3. Make stack gas analyses.

4. Requisition boiler room parts and supplies.

5. Operate and maintain water softening and water treatment equipment.

6. Responsible for work layout, general direction and assignment of boiler room.

Secondary Duties:

1. May repair or replace steam and water valves throughout the Plant.

2. May be on night call.

3. May be required to have a license to operate boilers.

4. May repair cannery equipment as needed.
