Dekko Hiring for Plant Manager Full Time

We are looking for a Plant Manager to join our team in North Webster

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on the plant floor while increasing production and revenue. You will manage scheduling, oversee daily operating s, and increase production by providing leadership and developing strategic plans. You should be a strong leader with an analytical mind and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Posses a safety mindset and create a safe environment for all employees.
• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations
• Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in various activities related to safety, quality, productivity, innovation, information and data security, supply management, people management and HR
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
• Allocate resources effectively
• Prepare budgets using various forecasting models
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
• Build and maintain a trusting relationship with employees
• Communicate with employees about performance expectations
• Give useful feedback to employees and coach and develop you team.
• Determine KPIs and measure them on a regular basis
• Ensure smooth daily operations
• Ability to consistently meet customer expectations
• Create a positive environment for all employees
• Adhere to company’s rules and regulations
• Stay up to date with latest production trends, best practices and technology

Education, Certificates & or Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, engineering or operations management from an accredited college or university and minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing or Quality Improvement
• -or- Minimum of 7 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of AIAG standards (APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP)
• Understanding of SPC and MSA
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred
• Process Engineering background is a plus
