Job Title: Social Media-Savvy Photographer for Auction Listings (Full-time)

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced photographer with exceptional social media skills to join our team as a full-time photographer for our auction listings. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of auction items, researching items quickly and efficiently, posting them on various social media platforms, assisting in packing and unpacking clients’ items as needed, and managing inventory and accountability for all items in their care.

Responsibilities:

• Create visually appealing images of auction items using advanced photography techniques, editing software, and equipment.
• Research items quickly and efficiently using Google Lens or other tools.
• Manage and organize the photography equipment and studio.
• Create engaging and attractive descriptions for each auction item.
• Develop and implement social media strategies to promote auction items and engage with potential bidders.
• Manage social media accounts and monitor engagement to ensure auction listings reach a wider audience.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure all auction listings are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Collaborate with auction coordinators to ensure all auction items are photographed and listed in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with photography and social media trends to enhance the quality of auction listings.
• Have experience with e-commerce and eBay.
• Assist in packing and unpacking clients’ items as needed.
• Manage inventory and accountability for all items in their care.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in photography and social media marketing.
• Knowledge of photography equipment, techniques, and editing software.
• Proficient in social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in photography, marketing, or related field is a plus.
• Experience with e-commerce and eBay is a plus.
• Ability to research items quickly and efficiently using Google Lens or other tools.
• Ability to assist in packing and unpacking clients’ items as needed.
• Strong inventory management and accountability skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
