Full Job Description

Deitering Landscaping, Inc. is an Erosion Control Contractor for over 30 years in Northwest Ohio.

We are currently looking to add a skilled, reliable General Repair/ Diesel Mechanic to our team to assist in managing the day-to- day operations of our business. An ideal candidate would have general knowledge in commercial and small agricultural equipment, as well as a strong work ethic.

• Applicants should be able to perform mechanical tasks such as: air brakes, drive lines, electrical trouble shooting, alternators, replacing starters, bearings, water pumps, radiators, injectors, etc.

• Track maintenance records on all vehicles/equipment, to insure they are current.

• Perform maintenance on equipment, small engines, truck, semis, and agricultural application equipment

• Insure a clean/safe work environment

• Perform welding, brazing, and fabrications

• Must be willing to operate equipment during peak seasons

• Making sure our vehicles are maintained and safe for our drivers
• A CDL is a plus, but not a requirement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $28.00 per hour
