Dehumidified Air Solutions Hiring for Warehouse Shipping Associate at Ottawa, ON Full Time

Position Summary:

This role is a key member of our Dehumidified Air Solutions team located in Ottawa, Quebec. Individual will be responsible for performing shipping duties in a warehouse environment in our Montreal branch.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

· Shipping merchandise.
· Inspection of outgoing shipments (damages, discrepancies, count, cosmetic and dimensional/functional checks).
· Issue paperwork for shipping. Bills, Commercial invoice and packing slips.
· Deal with custom issues over phone and/or email.
· Ship packages in crates. Last check of outgoing units and loading of units on truck/container.
· Completion of all incoming receipts and outgoing shipments paperwork.
· Maintaining organization and cleanliness of warehouse
· Pickup of mail and parts at vendors
· Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

· Minimum of a High School diploma is required.
· Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset

Required Skills:

· Experience with various transportation software (Fedex, UPS, DHL, etc.).
· Knowledge of HS codes.
· Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Forklift certification (electric jigger and crane) is required.
· Excellent communication skills
· Basic math skills
· Good blueprint reading skills are a plus!
· Basic computer skills
· Initiative
· Team player
· Good attendance
· Willingness to work overtime if necessary
