Our new securities trader needs no experience.

You will be taught how to trade and identify opportunities and execute strategies from analysts on our team. After a training period you will allocated capital to manage. For the successful trader, this position has significant financial upside through a vesting bonus structure funded through direct profit sharing in performance.

The hours for such a trader will vary but are typically 7am to 5pm daily but can be longer. Some markets may require you to trade off hours, but you will be expected to report and be available for the typical hours to managers and co-workers on the trading desks.

A successful candidate will be intelligent with strong analytical ability and, after training, have firm grasp of market trends as well as the implementation of technology to support the role. They will be should be able to make sound decisions confidently, even under pressure by taking into account the risk factors involved in it. Our new team member should carefully be able to strike a balance between patience, precision and expedited execution.

Requirements:

College educated but the successful candidate will have be very math-proficient.

Naturally quantitative and probabilistic style of thinking and reason.

A deep understanding of probabilities.

Sound judgment under pressure.

Ability to focus for long periods of time day after day.

Ability to change mind when facts change.

Be comfortable in uncertain situations.

Desire to know the truth.

Be calm under pressure.

Duties:

Identify trading opportunities based on what you’ve learned.

Track markets and stocks all day.

Highly focused and diligent throughout the day. Everyday.

Manage risk.

Place trades.

Handle uncertainty and stress.

Compensation:

Base salary of $100,000 – $200,000 depending on education, experience and knowledge base.

A vesting bonus structure directly tied to performance (successful candidates will earn 100% to 500% of their base salary in bonus pay).

Gourmet lunches provided daily from our in-house chef.
