IT Support Engineer
Full-Time Perm Opportunity
Base Salary to £25,725 + Benefits
Location: Southampton, Hampshire

As a trusted recruitment partner to this well-known performing arts and entertainment organisation, we have been asked to assist in the hire of an IT Support Engineer to join their IT Department as a permanent full-time employee.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Support (provide support to all departments on a rota basis incl. evenings/weekends)
• Network Administration (Networking monitoring, Performance Tuning, Troubleshooting, escalating issues to vendors, assisting with access control)
• Maintain data backups in line with the Business Continuity Plan
• Produce and maintain appropriate documentation.
• IT Compliance (Deploying Windows and systems updates, payment device security checks)
• Assist with identifying opportunities for improvements within IT.
• IT Security (ensure the security of systems is maintained)
• Adhere to data protection legislation.
• Research new technologies and design new processes to enhance performance.
• Assist with IT projects as required.

Working Hours

• During orientation: Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM
• After orientation: Tuesday to Saturday with a mix of 9AM-5PM, 11:30AM-7:30PM, 12PM-8PM as well as the occasional Sunday as/when it is required
• Due to the nature of the business, this role is fully on-site (remote working is not available).
