POSITION SUMMARY:

Deep Mile has an opening for a Curriculum Developer in support of the training program for MHS GENESIS, DOD’s Electronic Health Record (EHR). As a Curriculum Developer, you will be responsible for developing or assisting in the development of content for MHS GENESIS online and instructor-led product training offerings. This initiative helps our users gain greater value from the MHS GENESIS and accelerates their success by providing them with relevant & effective education on the most efficient and proper use of the EHR.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, manage and implement EHR system curricula based on position-specific workflows.
• Develop and maintain course content and coaching materials including instructor and participant manuals, guides, job aids, quick reference guides, etc.
• Establish and maintain system training environment.
• Collaborate closely and cross-functionally with other Curriculum Developers, and our Technical / Clinical Trainers.
• Collect data from customer satisfaction surveys when needed to continuously evaluate course/content effectiveness. Utilize data to update and improve existing materials
• Develop and deliver content for train-the-trainer (T3) and instructor-led training (ILT) in accordance with enterprise standards.
• Utilize standard instructional systems development models, such as ADDIE and/or Agile design.
• Facilitate change management for target audiences by giving feedback on training and developing content for improvements based on feedback.
• Discover and apply customer needs/business knowledge to ensure client satisfaction of delivery outcomes and make changes to content based on their feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including (but not limited to) developers, testers, analysts, functional analysts, functional leaders (solution owners) and senior management.
• Produce professional deliverables utilizing Microsoft Office products.
• Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
• Interact with senior clients and military leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience providing technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
• Experience in Clinical domain preferred.
• Expert technical knowledge in curriculum development.
• Experience developing clinical curriculum content, coaching materials, teaching aids and managing all aspects of curriculum development programs.
• Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
