The Role

The role of the Finance Manager is the first of its kind here at Deeper Insights. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can join our growing team and help us create the function, processes, best practices and implement & educate. You will be an experienced and qualified accountant who has a wealth of experience with cash flow management and cash forecasting. You will be a “safe and secure” pair of hands who can help implement a range of controls and storytelling reports using numbers. You will partner with our interim CFO to help get the function off the ground and some momentum going.

Core Responsibilities

• Dealing with all financial management aspects of company operations (management reporting, cash management, subsidiary compliance in international jurisdictions, cash forecasting)
• Working with the CFO to coordinate the business planning, accounting and budgeting activities of the company
• Financial control and stewardship
• Running efficient statutory compliance processes including statutory reporting and taxation returns for all subsidiaries

About you

• Qualified Accountant
• Experienced in management reporting
• Advanced use of Xero (or something similar) as an accounting system, Office software and modern SaaS tools in general
• Managing cashflow as well as the usual finance day-to-day skills for this type of role – likely gained in a VC/Angel/PE-backed business.
• Exposure and experience with working within a growing technology business
