Deekay Technical Hiring for Mental Health and Wellbeing Education Lead Advisor Job at Hillingdon, England Full Time

This is a term time only contract. The wellbeing for education return programme has been in place since August 2020 and has been further developed in 2021 as wellbeing for education recovery at Hillingdon Council.

This programme’s aim is to provide additional support to all schools in Hillingdon to build capacity in schools so that they continue to deliver the support at the end of the grant funding period, including:

Continuing to build on the wellbeing for education return training to deliver updated training, advice and guidance on issues such as bereavement and loss, understanding anxiety and low mood, and actions for building resilience and recovery, and other themes as indicated by schools.

Providing ongoing support and advice supporting schools to assess their needs and provision.

Extending this support to colleges and Post-16, where mental health concerns are preventing young people from accessing education, employment and training opportunities.

Design a toolkit of resources to enhance what is currently available via Hillingdon LEAP – to include model policies and documentation relating to supporting mental health in schools.
