Deacero USA, Inc Hiring for Assistant Controller at Houston, TX Full Time

Deacero USA, a one-of-a-kind steel product manufacturer is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Controller in the execution of financial accounting, ing, and compliance activities. The Assistant Controller will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure timely and accurate ing of financial information. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled financial professional to join a rapidly growing company in a dynamic industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end close process including journal entries, reconciliations and analysis
• Help prepare financial statements and variance analysis to support management decision making
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Assist the implementation and maintenance of financial ing policies and procedures in accordance with US GAAP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency gains
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and update financial policies and procedures
• Maintain and share a strong understanding of the GL and financial ing structures
• Oversee and prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Manage the daily operations of the accounting department

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
• 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial ing principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
